Central Station Parties | Planning Your Event

Now that you've decided who will be on the invitation list, the next questions should be:

How are my guests going to arrive?
Will they know how to find Central Station?
Will there be sufficient parking?

Arriving: Memphis has a number of taxi and limousine services available for your guests. If your attendees will be coming in groups, you may want to consider chartering a MATA bus or trolley (if guests will be traveling downtown). Finding Central Station: The best directions to Central Station may be found on our online map. Zoom in and out of the city -- or state -- to get a graphic representation of the building's location. You also have the option to print detailed driving directions right from your point of origination!

Parking at the Station: Central Station has 240 parking spaces available at the South side of the station. Doors lead from the parking lot to the lower concourse of Central Station, just outside of Hudson Hall. Because Downtown Memphis is the heart of the city, there are additional parking lots available near Central Station. Guests need only hop on one of downtown's famous trolleys from a remote parking lot and be dropped off right at the Central Station front door within minutes.
